We who live in the bay area no doubt have to deal with commuting to work. With gas prices going up and home prices also going up, the only option to live a better live in a good house is to go out further way from the san francisco bay area. I ride my little commuter car every day from and to home and sometimes i wish i can share my seat with someone who don't have to burn all that gasoline when they can be seating next to enjoying the ride. i know there is public transportation, but that gets old, if you take the bart for example, you have to switch trains here, and then the trains stops and goes, there is no express train with limited stops, wish there was something like that. so that's why i have created this web site to maybe get people who are interested in commuting with other people in the bay area.

Security - Security is a big issue when it comes sharing your ride with someone. i mean, while im driving im thinking, sure, i would like to give someone a ride who might be going my way, but am i safe? i tried to think of ways to safely share my ride with others but how, the only way i can think of is doing a check on that person, but that's just sounds too intrusive. not everyone is willing to share a ride with strangers, not these days. you hear so many stories on the news.

so how can we all share a ride? well, there are programs to help you. one good resource is caltrans, i think they have something. while i figure out a way to get people to share their little commuter car with others, i guess we all will just have to ride alone. Don't lose hope, God willing i will come up with a good idea.
